Be sure to visit the 12th century manor house of Stokesay Castle, or the pretty village of Much Wenlock – recently named one of the best British villages to live in. The old Turnpike road outside Highgrove leads to a variety of walking and cycling routes towards Wart Hill or the River Onny.
A picturesque walk towards the Long Mynd takes you to Wistanstow, where you'll find the famous Plough Inn and Wood's brewery – home to the award-winning Shropshire Lad. Cardingmill Valley and Church Stretton are just a short drive away, and Ironbridge's World Heritage sites can be reached in 40 minutes.
